62 DC

I got the DC from Shawn, its a great runner and drives very nice. BUT! there is alway a but in the room. I got this wild
hair to take in on the hotrod power tour in June. So I have to replace a lot of metal to keep the weather out. Will be
doing most of the work myself, with the help of a friend and lots of Klassic Fab. Anyone who has replaced panels on
bus before who wants to give a few pointers PLEASE feel free

So the status of this build would be still collecting parts for the body. Have a warehouse to work out of all the tools I need
just waiting for a few more parts to come in. Then will start to cut her up  plan on making my own headliners
and panels and fab a few repair parts that you cannot buy

SandDude, and builder of my crew. I love driving it. I am getting ready to roll it into a warehouse on
reno and start putting new metal into it. I was trying to find some help here see if anybody could give me
some pointers on hanging new metal, but its gonna get done one way or another.

I felt the same way when I tore her down for all new lower suspension, new steering box, new brakes, new glass, new transaxle, new motor, etc, etc.....

I eventually got her back together (one loooong winter) Anyways you'll get it done!

Then she'll be better than ever 8-)

well have not taken any pics for a while.. removed the fuel cell and cut out most of the upper bed lots of day light top to bottom
got a baja to drive while i do this one. in looking for low back seats for the baja I found some in the form of 67 that is pretty sweet
I did not have time to drive it ... going back on monday I seem to be getting side tracked.. want to fix floors on DC .. and getting more
cars in the process. need to do a few things to the baja before I start driving it .. and the 67 I think is gtg .. will see progress slow ..
but getting there...

Are you serious? So what someone thinks your car is worth something other than what you think BIG DEAL. GET OVER IT. YOU are the seller which means if YOU don't want to sell it you don't have to. Quit crying about it and get over it. I tried to explain this but you wouldn't have it. Glad I didn't buy that piece now. Quit talking shit and learn some grammar. Word of advice don't go running your mouth on a PUBLIC forum.
I'm over this.

P.S. He did offer to sell me the car with a running engine not installed for $2500 the other day. But I just Read this pile O'shit on Monday and it pissed me off soo much that someone would get so butt hurt about a car deal.
I'm out, now I know why the OKC vw scene sux.

From everything I've read, he never mentioned anyone's name.... :?:

But apparently you're not a 'nice young man' as stated.

I've seen the car & it is easily worth the asking price.

Please excuse me while I return to the "sucky OKC VW scene"

I don't know you and you heard one side of the story. I was willing to pay 2k then he wanted 2300 for car plus title which is bs we had agreed on a price. Don't get involved unless you know the whole story. He threatened to fight me in an email because I didn't want to pay 300$ for a title I could for under 100$. Oh I'm sure he forgot te part where I tried to work through the misunderstanding too. You disappoint me because I've heard good things about you.

I dont want anything to do with this kid ... I could give a shit... I dont need the drama .. and I dont need some smart ass kid
telling me what my car is worth from half way round the world that he has never seen .. in fact ... this should only be for fun ..
meet .. talk cars.. work on cars... share help and have fun ... this is starting to be not fun ...
