I have one, let me change that, I had one at one time before the tornado. I will check and see if I still have it. I keep finding stuff, I know I had before the tornado but can find anymore. Call me later to day and can tell you if I have it 405-830-1197. Robert

all ya gotta do is move the wires ;) I have that tool, but I wouldn't risk losing the spacers unless it was unavoidable, my 2 cents.

I need to move the drive a quarter turn clockwise. Do I need to pull it all the way out or can it just be lifted enough to turn with out dislodging the spacers?

just have to take it out, the spacers MIGHT stay in place, turn the dist. and jump the wires back one term. Iffen you happen to have one of the very few dist. that has the 2 deg. retard on the cam, it won't make any difference. That retard was built in to take care of the extra heat generated when the engine was laboring, it only was with non-doghouse shrouds (early engines), like I said it won't make a shit if you do have it, one cyl. or another will be retarded which WILL ABSOLUTELY NOT affect the engine in any way. Spin the dist. & rewire it , drive it on.

I have the tool if you need to barrow it just PM me.

If your careful you can do it without loosing the spacers. If there still covered in oil they will stay in place.

Thanks Dave, for the offer of a loan and the advice but it's a good tool to add to the collection and I ordered a few other items from Cip1 as well.
