"Empi 34 EPC
These EMPI 34 EPC are Weber 34ICT clones. I know, I know EMPI but honestly i ran these for a year and never had an issue not once.
Carbs are only a year old. The only reason i am selling them is because i switched to a larger displacement dual port. All linkage is included. "

HERE IS THE DEAL: I cut and pasted the ad from the Samba, I did a trade for these carbs....talked to the
seller in Washington State....
I will be installing on my daughters Bug, tomorrow, Saturday THE 30th, I will Post my results....
he seemed like an honest
person....viewed photos of the car he was running them on(Very Nice 66)....anyway....weeeeeell Seeeeee??

The carbs came with single port intakes....so I had to buy some Dual port Intakes...."Empi" of course...
(got to keep it all orig)
so now I have an extra set of single port intakes for 34 carbs

EMPI 34 EPC REPORT: (are they any good ??)
Saturday afternoon, installed the carbs....I pulled the deck lid, and the hinge
mounts....really did not want to pull the engine....removing the above about 5
minutes....re-installing about 10. You now have so much removal and installation room
for the rest of the components for the dual carb installation.

These carbs: one of the easiest I have installed and synched: The former owner(samba member)
had 55 idle and 135 mains installed....think they came with 52.5 and 130....he also included the
52.5 & 130 when he sent to me. I just left in what he had. Guess the altitude here in Ok. same
similar to Washington State where he lives ?

They run great !!! My daughter after she drove home....about
an hour from my house...."Daddy we should of done this long ago"
she stated a more smoother power and rpm range....

Would I buy/acquire another set again: Yes for small displacement engine
(she is running stock dual port 1600, new heads and Cofap P&C kit that I
purchased back in 93 for about $89.00 each....that was the prices back then.

we did have to remove the rain guard in the deck lid for clearance of the
throttle arms on the hex bar. She is coming back this Monday after work
at which time, we may modify the rain guard and reinstall.....and modify
routing of some of the fuel lines and so forth...check, check, fine tune per say

The fresh air hoses need replaced.....after 4 1/2 years ...Monday morn trip
to Bethany Imports

Next on her car, add higher lift rockers

Tinker AFB is 1291' so you should be somewhere +/- 50' i would think. Washington State varys so much, but could be lucky.

Glad to hear they worked well!
