Was restored 12 years ago, driven a bunch and sitting last 3 years.

Bunch of rust popping up here and there. Im gonna fix it up and just roll it for a bit.

That looks really nice. Did it come from around here? I don't much about Things, what year and engine size?

We saw your Notch at Cars and Coffee, never saw you, will this be there next month? I'd love to see it.

    Jim,
    Good looking Thing....at least you have a heater.... if you have the heater boxes ?
    My 73 thing....no heater, the gas one was removed prior to my acquiring mine
    just wear extra clothes....purchased one of the 12V heaters from Harbor Freight...
    a warm Duncan doughnut put off more heat

    Yours slammed....mine the other direction

    Yep.
    I havent used them though.

    My front end is crooked, on closer inspection seems to be binding some. Previous owner put bug trailing arms on, ill have to look and see what he did.

    Still running drum brakes on front? The kits I have found
    states will not work with 14" wheels
    I still have drum brakes on mine.....which are scarey at times.....
    I really need to convert to disk at some time in the future....
    Prob will do the conversion this spring
