Lowered Shocks

What shock combo you guys recommend for an adjustable and low narrowed front end and rear . I dont think the PO ever put lowered shock on the front :shock:

Some guys run em, some run stock, some dont run any.
empi sells some.

i would suggest looking for some KYB shocks. might be able to find them at your local parts store like auto zone.

KYB GR2 part# 343143 - vw beetle front ball joint stock height
KYB GR2 part# 344098 - opel gt front 2 inches shorter then stock

I have a pair of new 343208, short gr2. Two stiff for my liking, would take $50 (half price). I went with empi oil filled.

on my volksrod the lowered shocks were to short the stock ones to long. ended up with short shocks and extensitions. part # on req

I put the EMPI lowered shocks on my Volksrod and they seem fine. Haven't driven it yet, but travel is acceptable in the garage.
