New Project

Postby Frank K » Fri Dec 24, 2010 2:10 pm

Sold all my VW's and Vw stuff before we moved but still had the itch. A buddy of mine here that is into street rods wanted a bug so I found this for him in KC. So now I get to work with VW's again. All we got done before it got too cold in the garage was to lower the front end. Here is a picture after we brought it home.
Here is a picture of my new car. Not a VW but still fun.
Merry Christmas to everyone.
Frank

It's a 64 Austin Healey Sprite, 39K miles. Had been sitting for 30 plus years, the guy I got it from bought it in 66. It's fun but sits in the garage in the winter.

Well it's been a long hot summer. Just got the engine in and now have to get the front end aligned. Should be on the road this week. At least he will be able to drive it a while before winter. Got the engine from a guy that wanted to go back to stock. He didn't know what size it is but has more power than stock. Now we can get to the 60 El Camino.
