Oklahoma Vw Cruisers

sorry, i didn't know where to post this and i dont want to spam up this forum too much as i'm not a vw owner.
i haven't spotted a vw thing in okc, but i want to.
i'm trying to take a picture of my motorcycle with a vw thing for a scavenger hunt on the motorcyle forum i use.

I have one in choctaw. Near se15th and hiawasee.

thats not too far from me, i'm in the quail springs area. i guess i should say its not a motorcycle but a honda ruckus scooter

You haven't changed to Grom yet? I have one.

no not gy6 yet, still an early work in progress and daily driver. but i have a running gy6 scoot too. so it'll probably happen sometime.
my dad has a grom, never seen it hahaha
hefner and rockwell is really close!

Met with zygote! today for photo shoot....
he has a very nice ride....but much colder than mine
As I was waiting....got there a little earlier than him....no
heater in my Thing....warming hands with the Harbor Freight 12V
heater.....my mind got to wondering then
back in WW2 at the end.... how many Type 181 were there left
all over Europe and North Africa....wondering if they had heaters ??
....still wondering...and guessing that most of them had bullet holes in them ???
or were just burned on the side of the road in retaliation

thanks guys for all the help! i'm jealous of your vintage rides. my family had a bunch of VWs and other 70's cars when i was a kid, vanagon, karmann, super beetle, dad even had a split window for a while. let me explain how awesome it was to meet up with a thing. the VW thing challenge was worth 10 ride game points , i have 24 points for the whole year and i'm in 6th place worldwide. this challenge was also a one time only challenge and it had been open for almost a year.

Quick shoot.....cold ride for me....(no heater)...but at least I had a wind break
and much colder scooter ride for zygote!

we did this around 11:30 this morning...temp about 28 degrees
We met in the parking lot of the Coffee and Cars show area...south end
of North Park Mall

wasn't too bad today, at least it was dry.
should've seen me in the snow, just kept my feet down and skied every where
