Well, this is the 2nd year in a row that a car show at St. Ann Retirement Center is taking place at the same time.
My mother was there until I lost her last June. Really good people and I will be going by again this year before making it out to the Route 66 Bash.
If any of you could stop by on your way to Yukon I know you would be most welcome. The old folks come out in groves just to see the old cars. Last year there was a pretty good turn out with some really nice cars.
They are running their show from 08:00 to 12:00 with a band (music by the Elderly Brothers) and refreshments. Even if you can just stay a little while it'll make their day.
St Ann (Teresa 470-6554)
7501 W Britton Rd. (between Rockwell and Council) This is the parking lot where the MedFlight went down and their nurses helped save one life.
Thanks for your consideration.
