We're going to re do the woody this summer and fall, make it more rounded, less square. Here's some pictures I drew to get an idea of the shape and concept. I kinda like the angel chop , always wanted to do one, maybe now's the time. Let me know what you think.

Didn't mean for the pics to be this small....hmmmmm.

Well, I really wasn't happy with the pictures so I'm redoing the design. It'll be more old woody than PT Cruiser, I hope. When it cools down (the new chemo keeps me out of the sun) hopefully I'll be able to start. I'll post new pics tomorrow or Tuesday.

Can't seem to get pictures up, is it done like the old way? I used pictures I have on theSamba the last time, can we still do it that way or is it different now?

Finally got the picture thing figured out, thanks Jim. I don't know what I was doing wrong, it works just like the old way from what I can remember. I found out I already have a photobucket account too! I forgot all about it. Old age, it's coming for you all!

Here's the first picture, I've used bugselecta to get the bug lines better and added a better shaped woody part.
Less PT Cruiser. I've decided to nix the chop top too. I like this one the best.

Here's #2, I like this one too, but not better than the first one. Again I nixed the chop top, I'm thinking of adding a sun visor to kinda lower the front visually. I've always liked that look.

I agree the top one looks sweet... nice slope in the back while still keeping the traditional sytling...

They both look sweet. I'm getting you some moothballs for Christmas... Lol... :P
Like Jim I do favor the bottom one more but hey it's your ride and either one will be sweet.

Thanks for the kind words, hopefully I'll be able to get started in a couple of weeks. I've got most of it figured out in my head and on little scraps of paper laying around. I've even got plans for the motor and interior. Hopefully it'll go pretty fast and I can get to driving it again.
