The original Tulsa VW Club's 2010 car show will be at the grounds of the Oklahoma Technical College located at 4444 South Sheridan and yes, Sam's is still next door. The show is set for September 18th, 2010. Amenities at the OTC facility include a large parking lot for the show entries, large visitors' parking area with separate entrance, grassy area for overnight camping, large room for the awards ceremony, show date and time advertisement on their electronic marquis the week of the show, elevated concrete ramps where different members cars can exhibited their cars all week prior to the show for club publicity, office building centrally located in the parking lot for registration and judging room, indoor rest rooms. Yes ladies, you heard us right, indoor rest rooms! And, a joint venture with OTC to promote our car show and an open house for the college. Excellent location with great exposure right on Sheridan with hotels and restaurants nearby to the show. Looking forward to another great show. Plan early and come to the 2010 Tulsa V W Car Show September 18th.

I'd go but I'm afraid the bus is going to be parked for awhile... Making a bunch of copper in the oil but no knock yet... Hopefully I'll be able to afford a nice rebuild soon. I have a 2001 Jetta that I bought that may get here tomorrow. If it does I'll cruise up there with you guys.

I'm going to hook up the trailer now and then keep working on the SR. I would like to go up with a group, so if someone could call me (405-830-1197). I'm going to take the SR running or not from here and work on it up there to try and get it running.
