Me and mike are going to go. Meeting at Target/old chicago parking lot, 9am.
Found this info from an older show.....
“We held our first car show in 2004, and it has grown to be quite a large event,” said Brad Peltier, Director of Marketing for FireLake Grand Casino. “Our parking lot will be filled with rows of muscle cars and street rods. Bring your lawn chairs and your family to enjoy all the fun”.
The eighteen classes cover street rods, muscle cars, imports, trucks, motorcycles, and special interest. Some of the vehicles will be original, some modified, some pre 49, and some newer.
“Spectators never know what they’ll see in the Special Interest category,” added Peltier. “In previous years, we have had everything from antique fire trucks to jet boats.”
Admission for spectators is free and concession stands will be set up for guests to purchase beverages and snack items.
Registration is from 8am to 11am. Pre-registration fee is $15 and registration on June 6th will be $20. Registered vehicles will be contestant- judged and will receive cash prizes for first, second and third place in each category. A “Best of Show” prize will also be awarded. The awards ceremony will be held in the FireLake Grand Events Center at 3pm. For more information call 405-96-GRAND.
